Myog or Wakaberry?

MYOG OR WAKABERRY?

Late in 2012/Early in 2013, frozen-yogurt has become a new trend in Cape Town...

Wakaberry originated from Durban and moved to Cape Town late last year.
They offer 100% real frozen yogurt which is low in fat. The flavours vary from store to store but some include strawberry, vanilla, english toffee, mint, peach, cookie dough etc. Toppings wise, they offer fruit, nuts, cereal and then chocolates, sweets, fudge and sauces.
- Fun fact about Wakaberry: Wakaberry got its name from the excitement the founders felt during the 2010 soccer world cup and the song 'Waka Waka' by Shakira.

Myog frozen yogurt is proudly from Cape Town and there is only one store.
Myog offers 98% fat free yogurt that doesn't contain any yogurt powder or artificial additives. All of their products are sourced locally and only fresh-cut fruits are used.
Each week, Myog brings out various natural and seasonal flavours like chocolate, peanut butter, coconut, berry, rooibos, nutella. Regarding toppings, after paying R10 unlimited toppings are offered which include oreo cookies, yogurt peanuts, strawberrys, gummy-bears, nuts etc. Myog also offers a shakes, parfaits and fruit salads.

Wakaberry has a store in lower Kloof Street and Myog one in upper. Making my frozen yogurt run a weigh off. So, I've decided to weigh the pro's and con's.

* Myog frozen yogurt tastes genuine whilst Wakaberry's t
ends to taste artificial (1 to Myog)
* Wakaberry offers self-service whilst Myog offers counter-service (1 to Myog, 1 to Wakaberry
* Wakaberry has an amazing variety of flavours whilst Myog doesn't (1 to Myog, 2 to Wakaberry)
* At Myog you are served by hot French guys and at Wakaberry by ordinary South Africans (2 to Myog, 2 to Wakaberry)
* Myog has unlimited toppings for R10 whilst Wakaberry's toppings are weighed (3 to Myog, 2 to Wakaberry)
* Myog is in a beautiful little area and establishment whilst Wakaberry is in a busy road (4 to Myog, 2 to Wakberry)

And voilà, Myog wins my frozen yogurt boutique weigh-off!

I suggest you take a trip down to Myog or Wakaberry for some quality frozen yogurt and let me know your thoughts...
